Parking There is no free parking on campus. Parking permits are required, and parking is enforced from 8 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday–Thursday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday. This includes the parking meters. Restricted parking areas (e.g., red, blue, green and yellow zones) are enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Parking regulations are enforced from the first day of classes through the end of finals. Students may park in Faculty/Staff Lots only after 5:00 p.m., with display of a valid parking permit. Parking permits are not valid at parking meters. For parking locations, see the campus map. For information on handicap and temporary medical parking permits, contact the Student Disability Resource Center, (510) 885-3868. Day Permit Several parking lots have Parking Permit Dispensers from which a Day Permit may be purchased with six quarters. For locations of dispensers, refer to the campus map. Metered spaces are also available. Quarterly Parking Permits Quarterly parking permits can be purchased during the following two time periods: 1. If you choose options (a), (b), or (c) your parking permit will be mailed to you the week of Sept. 6. a. Credit Card by Web (May 17 - Sept. 3) – using SMARTPAY™through e-SAILOR at http://esailor.csuhayward.edu using MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. The convenience fee for use of CASHNET SMARTPAY™ is 2.9% of the transaction amount rounded up to the next multiple of $.25. b. Electronic Check (ACH) on the Web (My 17 - Sept. 3) There is no fee for this service. c. Check or Money Order (May 17 - Sept. 1). • If you are purchasing your parking permit at the same time as you pay your fees, use the “Fees Payment Worksheet”. Enter the parking fee on the “Fees Payment Worksheet” and add the parking fee to your other fees to obtain your “Total Fees.” • If you are only purchasing your parking permit, download the “Student Parking Permit Request Form”. This form is also available at the Cashier’s office, in the Contra Costa Campus Academic Services Lobby. You may drop the completed “Fees Payment Worksheet” or “Student Parking Permit Request Form” along with your check or money order in the Cashiers’ Drop Box (first floor Lobby of Warren Hall) or you may mail them to: Accounting Office,WA 645 Hayward, CA 94542-3024 (Make checks payable to CSUH.) d. Cash (starting August 30 at either Hayward Campus or Contra Costa Campus) You may purchase an automobile or motorcycle permit with cash at the Cashiers’ Office (1st floor lobby of Warren Hall) or in the Contra Costa Campus Academic Services Lobby. Complete the “Student Parking Permit Request Form”. Motorcycle parking permits are $9 and may be purchased only at the Cashiers’ Office. They may not be purchased by mail or with a credit card. 2. After September 3 parking permits may be purchased only at the Cashiers’ Office in person (1st floor lobby of Warren Hall) or in the Contra Costa Campus Academic Services Lobby.
