First Class Meeting Attendance If you do not attend the first class meeting, you may be dropped so your place in class can be given to other students waiting to enroll. If you cannot attend on the first day, contact the instructor or the department office to indicate your absence and desire to continue in the class. If the class is offered at the Contra Costa Campus, contact the Academic Services Lobby. If you intend to drop a class, do not assume you will be dropped automatically.
