Veterans
Students who are U.S. military veterans can download the V.A. Educational Certification form or obtain one from the Student Information Lobby, first floor Warren Hall.
According to V.A. regulations, no transferable units in excess of transfer unit limits (though potentially applicable to the veteran’s objective) can be certified for V.A. benefits. The following are transferable unit limits at Cal State Hayward: 1) not more than 105 quarter (70 semester) units of credit may be allowed for community college work; 2) not more than 141 quarter (94 semester) units of transfer credit may be applied toward a baccalaureate degree.
