Campus CETI and SIP delegates had a video-conference yesterday (Feb. 3) at which we got the following progress report:
The CETI business plan will be released to the campuses by March 15 and possibly as early as the first week in March. It will go to all SIP delegates' offices, the provost's office on this campus.
Each campus will determine how it wants to have constituent groups review the document. They will have 30 days to review and another 15 to prepare a response to SIP chair Maynard Robinson (a total of 45 days after receiving the plan).
The campus response will be submitted to Robinson through the office of each campuses' SIP delegate. It can take any form the campus wants, from a one-page memo to point-by-point analysis.
Dr. Martino and Dr. Rees will soon meet to review this format and discuss how to assure that all campus constituent groups and technology committees will have ample time to conduct a complete study of the CETI plan. As soon as the details are finalized, we will get the word out through campus email, posted communiques, The View, Haywire, the website and other outlets.
In the meantime, the latest CETI information continues to be available through the CSUH website under "News and Events."
