The Office of University Advancement coordinates three departments that work together to maximize financial contributions to the University, develop effective community relations programs, and actively engage alumni in the life of the University.
These activities are coordinated through three units of the Office of University Advancement:
Office of Development: Identifies, cultivates, and solicits gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations on behalf of Cal State East Bay.
Office of Alumni Relations: Enhances the efforts of the other units by developing and implementing programs to link alumni with the campus and support existing relationships.
Office of University Communications: Communicates the distinctive nature and accomplishments of the University, its faculty, and students to key constituencies, building awareness and enhancing the image of CSUEB.
